● The 420 Series construction machinery pump is an open circuit, axial piston design, offering a variety of controllers to match the pump to each application. The efficiency of the pump controller allows for reduced system cooling requirements. This allows for a more compact and inexpensive design, in other words, keeping the cooling capacity constant while increasing the system flow, thus improving performance and user satisfaction.
● The rigorously tested rotary system allows the pump to operate continuously at pressures up to 280 bar (4000 psi) and intermittently at pressures up to 320 bar (4600 psi), with low maintenance costs. Heavy-duty bearings and a rigid drive shaft give the pump a B10 bearing life of 3320 hours under rated construction machinery conditions, reducing cost and extending service life.
● The 420 Series pump features a saddle-shaped swash plate with a steel-backed polymer bearing, which features a pressure lubrication channel to reduce wear and further support internal loads. The rigid swash plate reduces deflection and evens out bearing loads, extending life. The single control plunger reduces the forces acting on the swash plate, resulting in a reduced pump size, allowing installation in more compact locations.
● The 420 Series pumps operate at low noise levels, exceeding the requirements of today's operating conditions. Another pump feature - a bimetallic valve plate - improves the pump's filling characteristics, also reducing fluid noise and extending pump life.
